Diese Seite gibt einen Einblick in die Tätigkeit des Deutschen Bundesministeriums für Zusammenarbeit (BMZ) bzw. der Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) in Bhutan von den Anfängen 1995 bis zur Einstellung der Kooperation im Jahr 2005 aufgrund der erfolgten Umstrukturierung der Deutschen Entwicklungshilfe.
Nicht alle Dokumente aus dieser Zeit liegen digital vor, und nicht alle der hier eingestellten Dokumente sind vollständig. Ich habe mich dennoch bemüht, die Zusammenstellung so komplett und ansprechend wie möglich zu gestalten. Ergänzungen, Kritik, Kommentare aller Art sind willkommen.
Beim International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) ist auch eine Broschüre mit dem Titel Advances in Participatory Forest Management in South Asia erschienen, die die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse der GTZ u.a. aus Bhutan beinhaltet.
From 1995-2005, the German Bundesministerium für Zusammenarbeit (BMZ) and its "technical wing" Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) have collaborated in the field of the sustainable management of Bhutan's renewable natural resources.
Not all documents from that time exist as digital copies, and not all of the documents below are "100% original". Nevertheless I have tried to make the selection as complete and attractive as possible.

A recent publication by the Kathmandu-based International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) titeled Advances in Participatory Forest Management in South Asia summarises the most important findings of GTZ in Bhutan.
